Brandy Leath is a highly respected leader in government contracting, procurement strategy, and regulatory compliance, with over 20 years of experience guiding businesses through federal contract acquisition, negotiation support, and compliance oversight. As a former Senior Contracting Officer, she held the authority to procure goods and services without monetary limitations, ensuring the efficient allocation of federal funds for critical government programs.
Her expertise spans GSA Schedule acquisitions, FAR/DFARS compliance, bid and proposal strategy, and post-award contract administration. She has worked with numerous federal agencies, defense contractors, and private sector firms, providing businesses with the strategic guidance needed to navigate complex procurement regulations and secure competitive government contracts.
Brandy supported high-visibility defense programs that account for one of the largest allocations in the U.S. federal defense budget, conducting detailed cost analyses and negotiation support that led to substantial cost savings for the government. Her ability to evaluate pricing structures, assess contract risks, and optimize financial strategies has made her a trusted expert in cost analysis and federal procurement planning.
Brandy holds multiple industry certifications and accolades, including credentials in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS), and Government Contract Pricing Strategy. She has also earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, giving her a strong foundation in financial management, federal budgeting, and cost analysis.
As the Founder & Principal Consultant at Leath Consulting Group, Brandy is passionate about mentorship, advocacy for small businesses, and breaking barriers for underrepresented firms in federal contracting. Blake Leath | Senior Consultant & Contracts Manager
Blake Leath is a seasoned Senior Consultant and Contracts Manager at Leath Consulting Group, bringing over 15 years of high-level experience in federal contracting, supply chain management, and logistics operations. With a career rooted in both public and private sector engagements, Blake has supported contract execution and compliance across major government and defense programs—including engagements with GSA, DCMA, Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, and other top-tier contractors.
Blake holds an MBA and is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, combining strategic thinking with process improvement expertise. His role at Leath Consulting Group includes advising clients on cost and pricing strategies, subcontracting compliance, and end-to-end contract lifecycle management.
Blake is particularly passionate about supporting veteran-owned, woman-owned, and minority-owned small businesses. He specializes in helping clients navigate complex government requirements, improve post-award compliance performance, and implement scalable systems that sustain long-term contract success.
When not analyzing cost models or streamlining procurement workflows, Blake applies his leadership experience to mentoring emerging firms, ensuring they are well-positioned to compete in the highly regulated government marketplace.
